On 03 May 1967 B Company, 1st Bn, 5th Infantry lost four men in the Ho Bo Woods about 7 Kilometers South-Southeast of Ben Suc when their
armored personnel carrier was hit by recoilless rife fire:
PFC Chester Gale Jordan was survived by his wife, Darlene Bailey Jordan Townsend, Arlington, Texas; mother Hazel Lucinda Jordan (1916-1997); father Jesse Willard Jordan (1915-1968); and at least one older brother Preston J. Jordan. Chester and his parents are buried in Moore Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Arlington, Tarrant County, Texas. - - The Virtual Wall, July 6, 2018
