Edgar Williams, Jr. was a was a member of my high school graduating class in 1965 - Hillside High School, Durham, N.C. Edgar was proud of his opportunity to serve in the Armed Services. He wore the uniform with pride. He was a good friend with a great deal of potential. We regret his loss, but we are happy that he was a "Hillside Hornet", Class of 65. It is our sincere wish and most reverent prayer that GOD will continue to Bless, Protect and Guide each of us. Edgar was a great friend.

You will always be in our hearts until we are together again.
Your sisters,

Edgar W Williams, Jr I attended Hillside High School in Durham and A&T State University in Greensboro, NC with Edgar. Edgar was a warm and unassuming young man who died in Viet Nam, a battle that was never declared a war. Although his transition was made in a land far from home, his memory will always linger with those of us who knew and cared for him.
