There is not a single Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner that goes by without someone in the family sharing a favorite memory of you. Even though many years have passed you are not forgotten. We miss you. We are proud of you and your service to our nation.
From his brothers, 28 Sep 2007 Thank you to all the heroes who served with Larry and have contacted me and my family. We sincerely appreciate the pictures and stories you have all personally contributed. Larry lives in all of our memories. No matter our opinions of the war, we all need to recognize the sacrifices that Larry and all of the men of this period made for this nation and the world. Let us all pray for any man or woman who is asked to go to war for this nation!
From his brother, |
Larry was a very dear friend of mine. We grew up together, and had many good laughs. I remember him telling me that he felt he needed and wanted to go to Nam. I had returned after a year there and tried to talk him out of it but he just told me he wanted to go. I loved this guy like a brother and miss him a lot. His laugh was special. He will always be in my thoughts and I will always be proud of him. He was just Larry Joe White to many other folks but to me he was a brother. Thank you, Mike, for this memorial page to him.
From a friend and brother, |
