Ken and I were classmates from 1961 to 1964 at Mount Healthy High School in Mount Healthy, Ohio. While we weren't close friends, Kenny was a nice, unassuming guy who was exceptional at mathematics. This would explain the Engineer MOS. However, to steal a phrase from Hollywood Henderson, he couldn't spell CAT if you spotted him the C and the T. I found out about Ken's death right after I returned from Vietnam in 1971. I only recently found out that it happened only 25 miles from my artillery battery in Kontum while I was there. A nice guy who died too young.
