Several of the local area papers printed the notice of his death like this one below. 
SSG Waverly Moore is buried in Arlington Cemetery. He was survived by his wife, Luneed A. Moore, Fayetteville, North Carolina and mother Mrs. Dollie Thomas, Indiana Street, Toledo Ohio. His father was deceased. 
Based on National Archive records available at the time the Vietnam Veterans Memorial was created in Washington, D.C., his first name was etched as below at Panel W25, Line 78. We changed our records upon receipt of his marker photo in Arlington National Cemetery.
