08 Oct 2005

I was a member of the Aero Rifle Platoon of the 11th ACR and myself and others from my platoon recovered the bodies of Captain Dacey and Specialist 5 Sipperley. I remember that day often, it was not a pleasant one. I also remember that no one knew who the co-pilot was, you see SP/5 Sipperly was already signed out of the unit and ready to go home but had decided to sneak off and take one more last flight.
