A Note from The Virtual Wall

On 12 Apr 1968 the 1st Bn, 26th Marines lost three men to enemy mortar fire directed at the western perimeter of the Khe Sanh Combat Base:
  • Cpl Patrick G. McGarvey, Spokane, WA, H&S Company;
  • LCpl Arthur L. Mills, Rapid City, SD, C Company; and
  • Pfc Patrick M. Bierlein, Passaic, NJ, A Company.
