In high school Jerry was a kind and caring person. He was someone you treasured as a friend and I did. To this day, I can still see his smiling face and remember the great times we had together. I considered him as one of my best friends, so much so that I have never forgotten him after all of these years. Jerry would do anything for you and would give you the "shirt off his back". He gave the ultimate when he gave his life in the service of his country. I miss you, Jerry, and will never forget you as you touched my life those many years ago and still do to this day. You are an angel with God I am sure, still helping your friend. Thank you for being my friend, for the service to your country and for the sacrifice you paid so that I could be be here safe today. I love you like a Brother ... God Bless you, Jerry.
