This memorial is for my father-in-law Raymond Joe Vrba, Jr. I never got to meet him. He died two weeks before his son (my husband) was born. We've heard he was a good and decent young man who spoke his mind. I wish we could have gotten to know him. My mother-in-law tells us a lot of stories about how he was and all. So young he was. He was a friend of Barry Sadler. He is mentioned also in Barry Sadler's book "I'm A Lucky One", which contains a photo of him. His name is also in the song. Also my mother-in-law and husband are mentioned in the book. We love you, Dad!
