There are many of God's creatures in this place so green, And they were put here in the hope they would never be mean. God put man here on earth so that he would enjoy life. But man wouldn't listen to God's word, and he came to know strife. God hoped that man would turn out to be good. But things got worse as He knew they would. Some things are sad, some things are gay. But life musy go on, as it does every day. God watches over His children, as though they were sheep, And as God says, "My people will I keep." God keeps his children safe and sound, And helps them through their battle, every single round. God helps His people if help is what they need. God helps the poor, if what they need is food. God put on this earth, a many a tree. And God gave man eyes, so the trees he may see. God put in mans heart, joy and cheer, God gave man ears so the joy he might hear. But some day all earthly things will come to an end, And all of God's people will begin to ascend To that heavenly place up above, Where people will fly with the wings of a dove. Then God will make a better place, A place with the better human race. And people will live forever more, And not know any more what it's like to be poor. A Note from The Virtual Wall On 28 Oct 1968, Captains Kenneth A. Stonebreaker and William H. Stroven departed Udorn RTAFB in RF-4C tail number 65-0846 for a coastal recon mission in North Vietnam. Information on this loss is scanty, and available accounts conflict one with another. Udorn RTAFB was in northeastern Thailand, almost due west of Dong Ha, North Vietnam. Depending on the route to be flown, a recon aircraft from Udorn might pass Dong Ha once only, on its outbound journey, or twice - going and coming back. All accounts agree the RF-4C disappeared somewhere west of Dong Ha, but beyond that there's only one certainty: neither wreckage nor crew were located. Both men were carried as missing in action for several years untilo the Secretary of the Air Force approved Presumptive Findings of Death for them. Their remains have not been repatriated.
