The database page for Joseph Martinez Soto
A tragic day!Sergeant Joseph M. Soto, M60 machinegunner with Co C, 1/327th Inf, 1st Brigade, 101st Airborne Division, died alongside his company commander and the CO's RTO. It was a tragic day for us. We were hit by the worst kind of ambush - automatic weapons fire and mortars. Joe was a good soldier. A brigadier general spent the night with our troops that night - an event that really helped to get our men through that great loss. If Joseph Soto has family living yet, I would consider it an honor to relay more information. My mailing address is P.O. Box 391, Lewiston, MN 55952. God bless.
