The database page for David George Smithwick
One of my first jobs upon reporting for duty with D Company, 92nd Engineer Battalion, Long Binh RVN, in October 1971 was to witness the collection and shipment home of SP4 Smithwick's personal effects. I did not know SP4 Smithwick; however, from the accident reports, I know that he was killed in a road accident in his tractor trailer rig while on convoy duty. He died doing his job for America. |
