Terence Edward Simon is on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Panel 20E Line 019.

21 Oct 2005

My brother, Terence, a member of a family of fourteen youths and his parents had spent about seven months on active duty in the Army and about three months in the Republic of Vietnam. He was proud to serve his country as many of his relatives have done.

His funeral was attended by his parents, brothers and sisters and in addition his grandparents were there as well as his great-grandmother and many friends and other relatives. His escorts were a group of members of the VFW and also a group of active duty and veteran relatives.

Terence was awarded the Bronze Star posthumously.

I believe the hardest thing I have ever done is to escort his remains to our parents. Brother, we have all always loved you.
