A Note from The Virtual Wall

Two men from Headquarters Company, 86th Engineers, died on 04 August 1968 - a truck driver and the man riding "shotgun" for him: CPL John R. Schmude and CPL Ronald B. Taylor of Addison, Illinois.

Their names appear next to each other in that order on the Wall.
