The database page for Gary Ray Schafer
This photo was taken at Marine Corps fire base, Camp Evans, summer 1967. We were all members of 1st Platoon, Golf Company, 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines. The Marine on the extreme right, Gary Schafer, from Maryland was killed in action on 9/21/67. He was a damn good Marine.
