Terry James Neumeier

Terry and I were best friends growing up in Kewaunee. I went into Submarines and he became a Marine ... we communicated a little at first and then as we both became heavily involved in our duties we lost touch. Our favorite thing to do together was hunt ... we spent many an afternoon walking the fields, hills, river bottoms and lake shores hunting. Mostly we talked ... he was always going to be a Marine, he never had a different plan.

Knowing Terry and his ultimate sacrifice has given me strength when times got difficult ... I simply tell myself if Terry were here he'd just do it, and then I go on.

Still miss walking those fields together!
