In remembrance of Samuel E. McCreary, may he rest in peace. All of his dedication and work are appreciated, but I know that does not make his death any easier on the family.

I ran track with Stanley when he was a senior and I a sophomore. He was a tall and powerful half miler. He won all the local track meets and came in second at the Maryland State meet, barely inched out at the finish line. He ran with amazing bravery and endless heart. He was an inspiration to us all. It was an honor to be his teammate.
