27 Oct 2003 Daniel I do not know who you are, but have heard of you before. I have visited the Vietnam memorial and your name came home with me. I too am a Gauna, maybe not off the same family tree, but I could be as well. For my Great Grandpapa had a long lost twin seperated from him at age 12 and maybe just maybe you are one of his offspring. Therefore I leave you this message... You are gratefully missed and we all appreciate your heroism as a Marine, maybe not by blood but we are related by name ... I will always remember your name... Sincerely, Andrea A. A Note from The Virtual Wall On 15 May 1969, Golf 2/5 Marines engaged a North Vietnamese Army battalion and found themselves in deep trouble. Echo Company was directed to assist Golf Company.
