You are always in our hearts and minds.
Your loving sister and brother-in-law, |
TO MY DEAR BROTHER There is not one day that passes that you are not in my thoughts. You were so young when you left us. We did not get to spend time together. You did not get to meet all your nieces and nephews. You would have loved them all, as they would you. We want you to know that we miss you and love you very much.
With all our love, |
You will always be in my thoughts
From his brother, |
To My Uncle Paul, I was only five years old when you died and I somehow always felt a closeness to you. You will always be my hero... What you did for this great country and what you mean to my family makes me feel so very proud of you... I have in my heart and in my mind what kind of person you must have been and it's no wonder why GOD called you Home. I know that you are OK because I can feel the warmth of Grandma holding you and I know you are both looking down on us keeping us safe. We shall meet again someday...
Your loving niece |
Love of my life, our time together was too short.
Love - Denise |
Dear Uncle Paul, I was very young when you had passed, but you will forever be in my heart. You are one of the heros who fought for our country and you will never be forgotten. I know you are not alone now, Grandma and Uncle Sonny are with you, I MISS you all, I LOVE you all and how PROUD I am to have you as my uncle!
Forever in my heart, |
Dear Uncle Paul, It wasn't until I was an adult that I really realized how young you were when you left us and how much you sacrificed for all of us in this country, and for that I thank you. I also want to thank you for being such a brave example to my three young children. Even though they never knew you they have asked a lot of questions and know a lot about the way you died. They think of you as a HERO, as we all do!
Love, Debbie |
Paul, I rememer the many conversations we shared about Sky Diving and the exhilarating joy you experienced from jumping. You had me so totally convinced that I too would enjoy the thrill of soaring like an eagle. At the last moment I knew I couldn't go with you because your Mom would be so upset with me. Now that you are together again, you can explain to your Mom that I honored her wishes and understood her fears for your safety. We miss you and you are in my prayers every night.
Your loving Aunt Terry |
To Paul, a former high school classmate: I was searching for alumni and am sad to find you here. Although I did not know you well, you were obviously much loved and still missed. May you rest in peace.
Denise Luciano Jack |
I was one of Paul's Aircraft Commanders when he first came in country. I immediately took a liking to him - he was sharp, a very good pilot and had a great sense of humor. He went on to make Lift AC and was the person who flew me to Bien Hoa when I DEROS'ed in Sep 70. It wasn't until many years later that I found out he had been killed later in his tour. He was a great guy and would have gone on to do great things.
From a friend and fellow "A" Trooper, |
Dear Paul, Thirty-five years have gone by since we were roommates in Song Be. I never forgot you or the many nights we spent talking about home and family, especially your beloved Denise. I and perhaps others who survived often wonder why you and not me. You were a wonderful friend who helped me get through the seemingly endless days. I read the letter from your niece who was confident that you were with your mother in heaven, I pray that is so. It seems we lived so far away from God during that time but I know He was there making choices and when He chose you He chose the Best.
From a friend, |
Paul, I always thought of you over the many years. You served our country with great courage and I'm very proud of you.
Harry |
To Paul, It has been 40 years since we talked about serving our country. We were young. We were proud. We were focused. We knew what we had to do, and we did it. I came home, Paul, and sadly, you did not. Not a year has gone by since then that you have not been in my thoughts, emblazoned in my memory. I spent years wondering why you and not me - then I learned to realize and accept that it became my job to remember you and our fallen friends. I am proud that you were my friend.
