Ralph was born and raised in my hometown of Donna, Texas. Ralph and I were friends in elementary and high school, we played football for the Donna Redskins. His parents treated us very well and at times invited us over for lunch during our school lunch hour. Ralph, Sir, you will never be forgotten.

A Note from The Virtual WallAccording to the 3/5 Marines' Operations Log, two Marines were killed by a boobytrap made from a 105mm shell, about 4 kilometers north-northwest of An Hoa airfield. The two men were Pfc Rafael De Leon and Pfc Robert J. Gordon of Hayden Lake, Idaho. |
