I am Andrew Clark De Aro, younger brother of Stephen De Aro. We were 2 years apart in age. I cannot express my gratitude to you who has immortalized my older brother. At the time of his demise, I was in AIT at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. My unit was assigned to deploy to Nam, but upon his death I was re-assigned to Germany. I cannot express the anguish I experienced at that time. It took me ten years to deal with my anger. Today, the anger is gone, replaced by a sadness whenever I hear of a death in Iraq. I silently relive the day I became aware of my brother's death. Again, I cannot thank you enough.
