EPITATH FOR A SOLDIER
Build me no monument should my turn come; |
Every year at Christmas time I think about Dan.
Regards, |
Happy Birthday, 2003. You are missed, loved and remembered, especially now with other servicemen fighting and dying. Before Dan left for the war he was helping me paint and remodel a house I had just bought. He accidentially broke a window pane between the living room and an enclosed porch. I never replaced the broken pane. It is still Dan's window and served as a reminder of him and how he was willing to help when needed.
Uncle Allen |
It saddens me to know that politicians' actions helped take you from our family, and it saddens me even more knowing that they haven't learned anything from the past. But what saddens me the most is that I never had the chance to meet you. We miss you.
