27 May 2002 "To live in the hearts we leave behind, is never to have died." (Thomas Campbell, circa 1888) Refugio Jose Cantu, Sergeant of Marines, was buried on 14 March 1967, in Plot V-0-1564, Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas, among other men of courage and integrity.

A Note from The Virtual Wall On 05 March 1967 Charlie and Delta Companies, 1/9 Marines, assaulted NVA forces emplaced around Phu An.
