I was Dennis's Squad Leader and the last person to hold him.
Robert A. Delgado
09 Aug 2007 To my dear brother-in-arms, Dennis In my heart there will always be a burning flame that will keep your memory alive. It was I who held you in those last minutes, and it was I that will always know the sacrifice you gave, so that we could be here in your honor. There are no words to describe the haunting feeling one goes through, as we try to put to rest the agony of war, and the suffering we have all endured who served. But you Dennis, have crossed over, and will burn as a distant light in time that will never dim in the dark. Dennis, you are never forgotten.
