A Note from The Virtual WallOn 8 Oct 1967, the 2nd Platoon, A/2/327th Infantry, was cut off from other Company elements by two North Vietnamese Army companies. In the ensuing battle, 17 troopers and 60 or more NVA soldiers were killed in action.
